It has been learned that the leaders discussed implementation of the Constitution Implementation Action Plan that the government had introduced recently and endorsement of the budget announcement for the next fiscal 2016/17 among other issues facing the nation.KATHMANDU: Top leaders of ruling parties held a meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Sunday evening.
Earlier, on Saturday, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had called a meeting of the ruling coalition. It, however, had not taken place owing to business of the leaders at the Parliament.
PM Oli, senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel have represented the CPN-UML whereas Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, leaders Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Dev Gurung have represented the CPN Maoist Centre.
Chairs of Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Democratic and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, Bijay Kumar Gachhadar and Kamal Thapa respectively, among other leaders are also present at the meeting.
